FUN DIVES:

The Gili Islands have over 30 dive sites for every experience level of diver.

Open water dives to 18m can be done at

Meno Wall; turtles, lionfish, nudibranch, lobster, cuttlefish & a good diversity of reef fish.

Bounty Wreck; One of our premium night dive sites where batfish, trevally, sweetlips, frogfish, ghostpipefish, octopus & cuttlefish, lobster, crab, shrimp can all be seen.

Sunset Reef; A large shallow sloping reef on the south of Gili Trawangan is home to many white and blacktip reef sharks, seasonal manta, eagle and devil rays. An exploration of the excellent staghorn coral growth may uncover a black and white banded sea snake.

Bio-Rock Structures; The latest addition to the islands reef regeneration project. Sponsorship from businesses, individuals and charitable organisations such as the Gili Eco Trust have made these blooming new reefs perfect beginners dive sites. Mantis shrip, Eels and Frogfish all chill out in these electrically charged coral structures.

Simon's Reef; One of the best coral dives of the Gilis. Consisting of a ridge of huge coral bommies including Pavona Clavus at 14m down to 38m on the north side. Pygmy sea horses, garden and moray eels and all manner of angel, butterly and scorpionfish present.

Hans Reef, Is macro heaven situated off the north east tip of Gili Air. A huge coral bommie known as the "brainiac" lies between 8-18m and is home to an impossible array of macro life inc: mandarinfish, harlequin ghost pipefish, leafscorpionfish, razor fish, frogfish, shrimp, squat lobsters and blue spotted rays.

Halik Reef; A gentle slope home to many octopus, blacktip reef sharks, schooling fusiliers, barracuda and a large Napoleon wrasse. can sometimes produce ideal driftdiving conditions.
