| DIVEMASTER: Join Goodwill Diving and Blue Marlin Dive as a team member and complete the divemaster internship program. Our philosophy is that the best way to learn is to actually do. No simulated exercises are encountered here, divemasters are taught by assisting on actual courses with actual students. The internship program is run over a four week period and in that time you will be gaining a deeper understanding of scuba diving theory, staffing dive courses, mapping a dive site, controlling diving situation and getting in loads of diving. Most people who do the internship program are able to complete 60 or more dives in the 4 week program. The internship is a great way to learn as it is a very hands on experience and you work with real students who may potentially have real problems versus some Divemaster programs that work with simulated students. Also during the course you will have many opportunities to perfect your dive skills, which will prepare you for an IDC if you so choose to become a PADI Scuba Instructor. Our divemaster course is proactive and all participants are given the opportunity to develop not only required skills and theory but a wide range of additions, making them well rounded, experienced and respected divemasters. |
