| ENTRY LEVEL TRIMIX: This course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 200fsw/60msw. This is using oxygen mixtures that are still safe to breathe on the surface (normoxic) whilst replacing unwanted nitrogen with helium, a safer alternative to deep air diving. Students must show exemplary in water skills and show good mental and physical fitness. |
